To kick off the season of holidays each year on the fourth Thursday of November people celebrate Thanksgiving, on this day people come together with their families and close family friends to celebrate . Thanksgiving Day usually consist of people watching football, eating so much food you can barely walk and spending time with the people that matter most. To kick off Thanksgiving Day families sometimes start off the day watching and possibly attending the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which this year is their 88^th annual parade. If you can’t make it to the annual parade it will be available to watch on NBC from 9am to 12pm streaming all throughout America. Thanksgiving day wouldn't be a known holiday if it weren’t for the 1621 Harvest Meal and it’s attendees.

Reflection:  12 things I'm Thankful For

4. I said family but the people I'm most thankful for are my parents.
5. My Home, that I have a roof over my head. 
6. The food and Necessities my parents and other family members provide me with.
7. School, the place in where I live provides me with an education.
8. All the things that I don't need but my parents give me just because I want.
9. That I made the Varsity Basketball team.
10. Cousins that make my day.
11. Little Brother even though he can be a pain I'll always love him.
12. My Dad who gives me anything I want and is always their to coach me, and to just talk.

Reflection: In my belief the quote means, if you're nice to people you'll have a better life, a better future. Kindness can be referred to as lots of meanings but it always means the same thing and that is to be nice and caring.

Reflection: As a person you know whats wrong and whats right if its not right don't do it its simple as that because later you blame you're self because you didn't stop doing it. When people tell you rumors or things that you know are not true what is the point of repeating them. If you say things that are not true people won't trust you're word or you're opinion later on in the future.

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, taking and looking at x-rays. A dental assistant performs many skills that require both interpersonal and technical.

Salary: $23,550 to $47,580

Education: Receive formal education from colleges, community colleges, vocational schools, or academic programs.

 

Reflection: I would not like to be a dental assistant. First of all because I don't seem to have an interest in being one, second of all because the dental assistant does a lot of work with the patients in which i would not be comfortable with. 

Dental Lab Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Work in labs to create dental prosthetics and appliances including complete and partial dentures, orthodontic appliances etc.  They create models of patients mouth.

Salary: $36,000 a year.

Education: Two year program at community college, vocational school, technical college, university or dental school.

 

Reflection: As an adult I would have an interest to vbe a dental lab technician, it seems like an interesting job and you  really have to work at it. You get to build things that will help people feel better about themselves.

Reflection: In my opinion I believe the quote is trying to say, that whether we do wrong or right today it can and possibly will affect your future. Even if it's one of the smallest things you did wrong it can affect you no matter what.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day 

Veterans Day was'nt always called veterans day it was originally called Armistice Day. Veterans Day has now not only become a day to honor those who have been lost in war but those who are serving. Before becoming a day of remembrance, November 11th was known as the day the Great war finally came to peace.

Reflection: Veterans day is a day where we thank and honor those who served and currently serve our country. We thank them for protecting us and keeping us away from anything that can take away our freedoms. Men and Women who have families of their own risk their lives to protect our families.
